Valentines-Sexy Foods
When it comes to Valentine’s Day, I like the idea of starting a tradition. One year you surprise your other half and make all the plans, the following year, your significant other makes the plans. How do you figure out who starts? Flip a coin.
I always build my menu around some classic aphrodisiacs. Many of these items you can buy already prepared or make at home without stress and fuss. Oysters on the half shell with a spicy dipping sauce, chilled steamed lobster with melted butter, jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce, or asparagus spears; anything you eat with your hands, or even feed one another. It’s definitely sexy tearing apart a lobster with your hands and dipping the flesh into melted butter and feeding your partner. A lovely spicy spaghetti can be quite erotic and will work the trick as well. Of course, Champagne, red or white wine, or even a sexy martini will add to the ambiance. And afterwards for dessert, nothing will do the trick like a warm sensual chocolate fondue that comes with a paintbrush. I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.
For decoration, I suggest changing the light bulbs to red…instead of sitting at the dining table, why not arrange cushions around the coffee table in the living room and dine lounge style?
For entertainment, you could watch your favorite video, play card games or be inspired by a Kama Sutra book.
The rest I will leave to your good imagination and capability.
Enjoy and Happy Valentine’s Day!
As always…more to come.
