Tips from Bardin Palomo
- Always use what is seasonably available. Using what is seasonably available allows you to use the freshest, hardiest and most beautiful at that time of year.
- Creativity is subjective, have the self confidence to be inspired. Don't be afraid to be creative.
- Color, form and texture should work in tandem. Together, the right color, form and texture create beauty and sometimes one can be used in place of another, such as using texture as color, or giving color texture to create depth and visual interest. Consider purpose, space and scale when designing.
- Sometimes less is more. There is such a thing as over accessorizing and gilding the lily. There is also great beauty in simplicity.
- Always use the best of the best.
