For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for flowers and design. I always felt that flowers have an inherent beauty that one can relate to and exchange energy with.

I started working with flowers over 20 years ago as an assistant at a local flower shop in Los Angeles. From there I went to Mark’s Garden where I started as a designer and eventually became the head designer for weddings and events. Since 2004, I have been an independent floral designer working with event planners and clients. As in any other field, the flower business has its ups and downs. However, I have never tired of looking at or working with flowers, no matter how hard the job was or how tired I got.

I like to work with flowers because they change seasonally and you always have something new to work with. My favorite season, of course, is spring, when you can have a wide selection of textures, colors, and shapes. Flowers have become an important element in set designs in the past ten years. Now people recognize and appreciate a beautiful centerpiece or ceremonial arrangements.

Through my floral design experiences, I found out that events and parties are the fields I was more interested in. I enjoy collaborating with others and being witness to the transformation of a project from concept to finish. I take the most pleasure in knowing that we have captured the vision of the client along with their satisfaction on their special day.
