I Am Anna by Ann Leon White is the story of a grandmother and her love for her grandson. The book begins with Anna’s first words, which according to the author, were channeled to her by Anna herself. "I am Anna, grandmother of Jeschu, known to you as Jesus, the crucified, and mother of Miriam, known to you as Mary. I have waited almost two thousand years to tell my story, for I am you and you were me in that life. I cannot rest in my grave until I tell it."

The story takes place more than 2,000 years ago, but the emotions can be felt as if they were happening today. Whether or not you believe Anna really is speaking through Ann White, I Am Anna is a beautifully written story that touched my heart and I’m sure it will touch yours, too.
