Purpose of Position: Food and Beverage Receiving and Inventory Management. Coordinate all deliveries and kitchen maintenance.

Report to: Executive Chef

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Food and Beverage
  • Assist with the ordering and maintenance of stock of sodas, juice and misc. beverages
  • Receive, weigh, confirm quality and inventory all food and beverage deliveries
  • Monitor the acceptance or rejection of all deliveries and orders based on company standards
  • Daily submission of supplier’s receipts to the bookkeeping office
  • Manage the food and beverage inventory: daily and monthly control of stock items. Monthly inventory reports submitted to bookkeeping office
  • Packing of food and beverage orders according to requests
  • Maintenance of all storage facility. Monthly inventory control and reports
  • Quarterly planning sessions to determine in-season volume purchases tied to building occupancy, party volume, etc. with the goal of lowering unit costs
  • Maintain general cleanliness of all kitchen areas and functionality of all kitchen equipment to Department of Health Codes
Operations and Maintenance
  • Company and party equipment maintenance ensures the company’s equipment is in good working order and condition and properly inventoried, labeled and ready for use
  • Kitchen and uniform maintenance: Check-in and check-out of all uniforms, uniforms cleaning and cost control
  • Miscellaneous kitchen administration support
  • Manage porters and other hourly staff to ensure consistent high-levels of cleanliness, order and performance
