HISTORIC NY PUBLIC LIBRARY

ABOUT THIS EVENT

It took a year of planning to bring together this absolutely stunning NYC-based wedding. Elegance was key, as we brought classic hues to the save-the-dates and invitations with neutral tones that included blushes, tans and ivory. The bright, sun-filled ceremony was held on the historic Lord & Taylor rooftop, where glass paneling allowed for rays of sunlight to highlight the greenery and hanging floral arrangements.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to the New York Public Library, where various design elements reflected the library-themed reception. Back bars were stocked with vintage props and pieces, where everything from marble lions to spectacles and hourglasses added to the old-fashioned décor elements. We took a unique and fun approach to the photo booth area, creating a vignette with green velvet backdrop, a grand vintage couch, coffee table and multiple props to take it from a standard photo booth to an entire set.

As guests were seated for dinner, they arrived to ornate floral décor at each table. Above the head tabletop, a magnificent structure was built to support various chandeliers decorated with intricate floral designs, spanning the entire length of the table.
